Peter and Natasha’s June 3, 2023 Wedding Celebration
Benches by the bridge, all the people wait,
Excitement and anticipation build and inflate.
Down a forest path on a four-wheeler rig,
The couple descend for their marital gig.
Ross captures moments with his digital lens,
Memories to cherish of family and friends.
Peter dons his Aleut visor with pride,
Arriving barefooted with his love by his side.
Natasha wears her ribbon dress for Pete,
With soft leather moccasins covering her feet.
Dan tries to speak so all there may hear,
While both he and Peter hold back wedding tears.
In the garage, beer pong battles are heartedly waged,
Women dominate men on the flip cup stage.
The Steinmetz’s party bus on schedule arrives,
With Jell-O shots keeping the party alive.
Food is home cooked with a Mexican theme,
With Pete’s Gramma Kathy B leading the team.
Wine overflows, and the beer runs dry,
Ring finger glasses by the wedded held high.
Dancing, party lights, the music plays higher,
While people relax and get buzzed by the fire.
In a culvert Mike and Gus roll down with a thrust,
suffering cuts, bruises and being partly concussed.
The mystery duckling for the kids – a delight,
Meanwhile the mandarin moon shines its gorgeous orange light.
So Peter and Tash, in your love ever spoon,
We’ll never forget the wedding of the mandarin moon.
