I got this book out of my neighborhood “little library” which is a box in a yard on S. Main St. just around the corner from me. I had low expectations but ended up really enjoyed it. It’s my favorite kind of book, historical novel. I’ve always been interested in Hemingway and this book gives you a picture of his early life before he becomes famous.
